Hyundai also says the BAYON uses its Global K Enhanced Platform, engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards. That is a platform claim. Buyers should still wait for the model's final safety equipment list and learn which equipment is standard on the version they intend to purchase.

The press release does not give a variant-wise price list, full equipment breakdown, output figures, claimed fuel efficiency or a delivery calendar. Those are not minor details. The same SUV can feel like very different value at two prices, and features such as cameras, airbags, connected functions and automatic transmission may be spread across the range.
