How it works
Plan the full monthly car cost
This is a budget-first estimate. It makes space for ownership costs before working backwards to an EMI and an indicative on-road car budget.
Budget formula
Suggested EMI = (net income x car share) - monthly ownership
Net income is your income after existing monthly commitments. Loan capacity is then calculated from the suggested EMI, rate and tenure.
What is the recommended car budget based on?+
The estimate starts with your monthly income, subtracts existing EMIs, reserves a chosen share for the car, and keeps regular ownership costs separate from the EMI.
Why are fuel, charging and maintenance included?+
A car's real monthly impact is more than the loan payment. Including these costs helps avoid choosing a car that looks affordable at booking but strains the monthly budget later.
Does a longer tenure always improve affordability?+
It lowers the monthly EMI and can increase loan capacity, but it usually raises total interest. Compare the 3, 5 and 7-year views before deciding.
Is this a loan approval result?+
No. It is an indicative planning estimate. Your lender will decide eligibility using credit history, income documents, employer profile and its own underwriting rules.
